In 1798 La Morada Mas Hermosa was built by a shipping merchant, in what is still referred to as Marbella’s “Barrio Alto” (upper neighbourhood) - the tower of which (converted into room 5 ) provided him with strategic views over the bay.
It continued to serve as a home in Marbella for various local families over the centuries until 2000, when we fell in love with the house as a family and decided to convert it into the “home-from-home” boutique hotel we had always dreamed of running.
After undergoing extensive renovations, while respecting the original architectural structure and surrounding Old Town setting, La Morada Mas Hermosa opened its doors as a boutique hotel in 2003, where every visitor is considered a welcome guest in our extended family home.

Guests can enjoy an authentic Andalusian experience in this whitewashed townhouse in Marbella's old town. La Morada Mas Hermosa offers free Wi-Fi throughout and an Andalusian patio.

The rooms at this boutique hotel are all different, each with its own personality, and include a flat-screen TV and full heating and air conditioning. Bedding is made of 100% cotton, and all rooms have eco-friendly toiletries.

Morada Mas Hermosa is located in a pedestrian area, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. The historic Plaza de los Naranjos and the Museum of Spanish Engraving are both nearby.
